The microjoy philosophy.

A joyful life is one well-lived. We have a deep sense of joy as we derive fulfillment from our work and lives. We help others to find and prioritize the things that bring them joy. We do not compromise or ask that anyone compromise, that which results in joy. The microjoy philosophy stems from these truths and has the potential to impact every area of our lives when we start living in the present and appreciating each moment.

Aloha in huna, translates to “Happiness comes from Love.” But it is so much deeper than that. It’s about embuing love and joy into all aspects of your life. From the little things like taking a walk in the morning and loving the sound of the birds chirping to bigger things like taking a boat ride with your family on the weekends. It’s not always easy. But if you keep reminding yourself to look for the love around you, you will find it - and with it happiness.

How do you start your day?

The way you start your day sets the tone for how we will feel throughout our day. Making sure we start our day doing what makes us feel grounded, inspired and like ourselves is so important. I like to pet my dogs, make a coffee and look out into the ocean while I slowly sip it, sometimes take a morning dip in the ocean or the pool before I start my day.
